🥭 Kevin Hernandez
Hi, I earned my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from
Rice University
, graduating with Distinction in Research & Creative Works.
At Rice, I worked in the
Positive Technologies Lab (PTL)
under the mentorship of
Dr. Tirthak Patel.
I’ve also worked at Columbia University’s
Transformative Learning Technologies Lab (TLTL)
and conducted ethnographic research on AI in dairy farming with
Dr. Pamela Hinds
in Stanford’s Management Science & Engineering department.
I am very curious about how language models and agentic system influence our decision-making, reliance, and deliberation.
In turn, I design AI tools that surface hidden assumptions and
encourage reflection with applications in work, the public sphere, and education.
Outside of work, I love to: 🍵🧗♀️🎹🎺📚🤸♂️🏋️♂️⛰️🚵
